THE APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE
The Bible is very clear on what every person must do to make heaven their eternal home. According to John 3:16 God sent his Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins that we might have a chance to be free from sin and enjoy a positive relationship with God. In Acts 2:38, the redemptive process every person must go through is clearly outlined. One must (1) Repent, or turn from his or her own sins, (2) bury the old sinful person through the process of baptism in the Name of Jesus, (3) receive the indwelling gift of the Holy Ghost, and (4) continue to operate in the “Apostle’s Doctrine” (Acts 2:42). We believe it is our obligation as obedient children of God to learn how to operate the way God created us to live (Matthew 11:29).
